About Dr.

Dr. Amy Burkhart is based in Napa, CA, and specializes in integrative medicine. She is board certified in Integrative Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson from 2002 to 2004. Dr. Burkhart earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine in 1995 and completed a residency in emergency medicine at Alameda Health System-Highland Hospital/UCSF from 1995 to 1999. She has a background in clinical nutrition with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a certificate in celiac disease from the University of Chicago. Since 2012, she has been practicing as an MD RD at her own practice. Her research publications include studies on pregnancy and neonatal outcomes.
